{Halloween Birthday Bash} Voluptuous Vampire Costume Review

Sex toys - EdenFantasys adult toys store

Please note: Links in this post lead to a very tasteful, yet not suitable for children adult shop.

Not too long ago, I received a Vampire Costume for a review on my After Hours blog. Once it came in the mail I was sad to find out that it didn't fit so when I saw the Voluptuous Vampire Costume under New Arrivals at Eden Fantasy's I couldn't resist trying it out! My package arrived quickly and discreetly as usual and I ran off to tear it open within minutes.

This voluptuous vampire is the queen of the night in her stretch lace and velvet top with frog lace up detail, matching stretch skirt with lace mermaid hem and mesh cape with high collar. Vampire fangs are included. You’ll have to keep an eye on her as she’ll "want to suck your blood"!
The costume fits me comfortably, though I did wish that the top was just a little bit longer as it tries to roll it self up due to the semi-stiff material and my "Mommy belly" which I still haven't lost. There is no breast support in this top, so don't expect anything impressive if you are hoping to wear this without a bra.

I love the skirt, but the material is thin and I don't think it would stand up to wear & tear beyond it's intended use - as an occasional costume. The cape is made out of a thin mesh and just covers the shoulders and upper back, as you can see in the photo.

The included vampire teeth...well lets just say the teeth are laughable. A single piece of plastic which you fold in half and bite down on. I had several of these when I was a kid, but doubt I will ever use them as an adult. I gave the teeth to my boys.

Overall I think this is a well made, comfortable costume. Definitely higher quality than a typical costume but I still think the price tag is fairly hefty for something that doesn't feel like it will stand up to more than occasional use. I realize most people buy costumes solely to use once a year, but I was hoping to wear this more often personally. The Voluptuous Vampire costume is made by Coquette, and is hand wash only.

If you would like to buy this costume or any of the other numerous adult products available from Eden Fantasy's you can use the code "FES" to get 15% everything in your cart! (Excludes sale items)

I also published this review with a little more detail on Eden Fantasy's, if you have an account and liked my review please rate it for me!

{Halloween Birthday Bash} My Lip Stuff

I received a 3 pack of lip balm to review, and even though I wasn't able to choose the flavors myself I was very happy with what I got; Banana Pudding, Pumpkin Fudge, and Pumpkin Cupcakes.

First off, I love anything Banana flavored so Banana Pudding was the first one that I tried. I loved it so much that I didn't even want to use the others, but for review purposes I did try them, and loved them too! There are 101 Banana Flavored Lip Balms to choose from but the one that sticks out the most as a must try for me is Monkey's Lunch. Monkey's Lunch is my absolute favorite alcoholic drink - Banana, Kahula, and Cream. I know what I'm getting in my stocking this year!

All three have a moderately strong and delicious scent, though once on your lips the flavor is barely noticeable. Compared to the store bought, waxy lipbalms, the buttery texture is wonderful and actually makes me want to use this balm rather than just using it because my lips are dry.

My Lip stuff carries over 500 flavors of lip balm along with other bath & body products too. Their products are skin, earth, and animal friendly and use only the finest ingredients that are skin safe and environmentally friendly.

Planning a party? My Lip Stuff products can be customized or personalized for the ultimate lip balm experience. Custom label lip balms are great for business promotions, weddings, showers, or any event where you'd like to give a personalized gift.

Buy it!
All of the prices are extremely reasonable either directly from www.mylipstuff.com or from Amazon and shipping is available worldwide!

Win it!
One of you will win a random 6 pack of lip balms!
Open Worldwide
Ends November 15th

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Affordable Scarves Review and Giveaway

I have never been a big fan of scarves, and have classified them as a winter accessory until I went to my cousins wedding over the summer and became envious of all the fabulous scarves the women wore with their dresses. Ever since then I have been slowly adding a few scarves to my wardrobe so when I got the chance to do a review for Affordable Scarves I happily accepted!

I was looking for something on the fancier side to wear for special occasions and chose the Sequin Party Shawl in black for this review. It's a little too fancy for everyday wear for me, but I have had the chance to wear it out a few times now and I love it! It's big enough to cover my shoulders, and thin enough to be worn all year around.

Sequin Party Shawl

I'm very happy with my decision, but it was a hard one to make with so many to choose from! I also wanted to point out that when I hear the term "Floral Scarves" I immediately think of my grandma but a quick look through the selection showed me that flowers aren't just for Grandma!

Mary Kate Floral Cape

Affordable scarves carries everything from animal print scarves to infinity scarves in every color you can imagine. I won't share my entire wishlist in this post, but here are a few more that I definitely want to own someday:

Jan Faux Fur Cape & Victoria Faux Fur Shawl

Heart & Skull Square Scarf (I'd love one in each color!)

If, like me, you are new to wearing scarves be sure to check out Scarves.net for instructions on How to Tie a Scarf. Who knew there were so many different ways to tie a scarf? Not me!

Win it!
One lucky reader will win the scarf of your choice or a $20 Gift Certificate!
Open to Canada and the US. Ends November 8th

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Squinkies Review

I received a bubble pack of Squinkies as well as a Birthday Surprize Bracelet for review and didn't stand a chance in keeping these away from my daughter when she spotted them! She loved them right off the bat and started carrying them around with her "Pets" (which is what she calls her collection of favorite toys, mostly Littlest Pet Shop).

If you are familiar with the Teeniest Tiniest Littlest Pet Shop toys which are available, these are similar in size but instead of being made out of hard plastic they are soft and squishy. Each one comes with it's own ball just like the toys that come in the coin operated machines you see in stores. The bubble pack comes with 16 Squinkies, 4 of which come in a colored ball so that they remain a surprise .

The only downside that I have found with Squinkies is that they are slightly tacky on the surface and if you have a lot of pet hair in your house it will stick to the toys and make them look like miniature balding cats. It does rinse off easily, and would probably be less of a problem if I had a vacuum! She has also lost a few since they are so small but with a tiny toy like this that is to be expected.

Squishy, squooshy, squashy and totally adorable, Squinkies is the eagerly awaited new mini doll and pet, accessory and playset line destined to be the hottest new must-have kids’ collectible toy sensation. Squinkies friend and pet dolls come encased in unique toy plastic bubbles. Pop open the bubble and you’ll find a Squinkies surprise inside!

Launched in July 2010 by Blip Toys, the initial release includes a collection of 96 micro dolls (series 1 – 6) packaged sixteen each in a selection of popularly themed blister card Squinkies Suprize Inside Bubble Packs. The collection’s initial three fun themes are Fantasy, Princess, and Birthday with many other additional themes and dolls to come!

With new collectible Squinkies dolls to be released on a regular basis, the line will feature hundreds of figures to collect, trade and share. As a resukt kids will enjoy the ability to enjoy endless hours of imaginative game play as they create their very own special Squinkies world.

In addition to the Suprize Inside Bubble Packs, the Squinkies line includes a variety of fun accessories and play coin dispenser playsets at a variety of price points that will accommodate any budget. There’s always a surprise with Squinkies dispenser playsets as each playset is creatively themed with meticulous detail and come with plastic toy bubbles with Squinkies inside plus accessories to round out play!

As part of the dispenser play, toy coins are inserted into the playset slot allowing kids to twist the dial and dispense a Squinkie surprise! Each playset dispenser is large enough to hold several Squinkies inside their plastic toy bubbles. Squinkies figures, playsets and accessories are each sold separately.

Yesterday was my Daughters Birthday, and she was very happy with her gift - more Squinkies! I got lucky and won some more in a giveaway from another blog and knew they would be exactly what she wanted! I even put some aside to save for the Holidays. My Daughter loves her Squinkies and I love that they truly are priced to be affordable starting at only $9.99 for the Bubble Pack.

I think these would also be great for dividing into goodie bags at Birthday Parties or for giving to children on Halloween! If you have an award system at home where the kids get a prize for good behavior, these could be great for that too. You can purchase Squinkies from Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, Shopko, Meijer, and Amazon

Learn more about Squinkies by checking out their blog, follow them on Twitter, or like them on Facebook. Hint: Be sure to check out their blog for a special Halloween Giveaway coming up!

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Zibits Mini R/C Robots

When it comes to gadgets and toys, my boys go crazy. I first heard of Zibits a few months ago, and when my boys saw them they went on and on about how badly they wanted thier own mini robot. I actually did get one back then and was planning to put it away for the Holiday's but since I was given the chance to review one, I decided to pull it out so that they could each have one to try out.

Zibits are tiny (two inches tall!) remote controlled robots. They can move in different directions, and can even spin around to make 360 turns. There are 12 different Zibits to collect in the first series, each with a unique name and story. Their eyes light up and they make cute robot sounds too! The remote takes two AAA batteries (not included) and the robot itself takes 3 button batteries (included).

I received Tank for this review, and also have Dex. It is interesting to see that they changed the packaging to include each robots name and to detail the story & character of the specific robot that is in the package. I got Dex in May and his packaging did not include any of this information.

My kids love playing with these little guys, and I do to. They are even fun for scaring the cats! Priced under $10 and available at Toys R Us these would be perfect as a stocking stuffer or even as part of a birthday or anyday gift for the gadget lover in your life.

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Penguins of Madagascar: I Was a Penguin Zombie

Starring the perennially popular Penguins from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc’s (Nasdaq: DWA) phenomenally successful MADAGASCAR franchise, this new collection of adventures includes eight eerie escapades from Nickelodeon’s Emmy and Annie Award-winning* series. The DVD also includes a never-before-seen mission entitled “Driven to the Brink”, which will be exclusive to the DVD for four weeks. Follow Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico as they come face to face with zombies, robots, spooky noises and a whole lot of frightening fun in this delightful DVD with more than an hour of entertainment.
I didn't tell my kids that I was expecting this one in the mail, and when they saw me open the package they went crazy! They loved the last Penguins of Madagascar DVD that we were able to review and this one wasn't any different - in fact they loved this one even more. Their favorite episode was the very first one on the disc, and the one which the DVD is named after; I Was a Penguin Zombie. This could be due to the fact that they also enjoy regular Zombie movies! Not just for Halloween, this will be one that will entertain them all year round.

I Was A Penguin Zombie just came out on DVD on October 5th and includes eight spooky episodes:
~I Was a Penguin Zombie
After a woozy Skipper returns from the vet, the Penguins believe he has turned into a Zombie.
~Driven to the Brink *DVD Premiere*
When Rico crashes the Penguins' car and rebuilds it himself, it becomes possessed.
~Haunted Habitat
After Marlene is frightened by a spooky noise, she and Skipper travel down to the sewer to investigate.
~Lemur See, Lemur Do
A robot is sent to the zoo to learn the habits of lemurs before it's sent into space.
~Eclipsed
During a solar eclipse, Phil and Mason convince the bossy King Julien that the sky spirits are angry at him.
~Mort Unbound
Mort is exposed to Kowalski's super-ray and he grows super-big and strong.
~Misfortune Cookie
When Rico gets a freaky fortune from his cookie, Julien sets out to make it come true.
~It's About Time
Kowalski threatens to tear the space/time continuum with the time machine he's built.

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Halloween ChicoBag

In my last ChicoBag Review, I mentioned their new Halloween bags and when I was given the chance to review one I jumped on it! Once it arrived in the mail I was surprised to see that it is much bigger than I had assumed it was based off of their photos. At 18" x 14.5" it is big enough to hold quite a few goodies!

My daughter has used the small pumpkin shaped bags that you can get from stores for the past few years, but now that she is older and willing to do more walking around it was time to get her a bigger bag so she will be happy to be able to use this one. With the two large handles, she will be able to easily carry the bag over her shoulder or in her hands.

Children in the US can submit their own designs for the 2010 Halloween Bag design contest and you can purchase your own Halloween ChicoBag online for only $5.99. You can also check out their store locator to find your local retailers. There are 3 different pouch designs available, and I love that it folds up so small that you can easily fit it into your pocket or purse. Like the larger bag that I reviewed, it also includes a clip so you can attach it to whatever you would like when it is folded. It can be machine washed in cold, and hung to dry.

Trick or treaters can now put the "eek" into their eco-friendly celebration by toting ChicoBag's™ 2010 reusable Trick-or-Treat bag. ChicoBag™ realized there was no one better to create our annual Halloween bag design than the user. We decided to hold a contest for the best green-spirited Halloween design and invited students nationwide to participate. This year's design was inspired by Gracie Gralike and is available with two different pouch options; a bat pouch or a pumpkin pouch. In addition to last year's winning design, there is also a Jack-o-Lantern design printed on an orange bag. All three designs are featured on our Original ChicoBag™ brand reusable bag, providing trick-or-treaters plenty of room for their goodies!

The
ChicoBag™ design contest is co-sponsored by Green Halloween®, a grassroots movement that is helping families and communities nationwide start new, healthier holiday traditions. Submissions are being taken until October 31, 2010.

What's even sweeter? 10% of the sale of each bag will be contributed to Green Halloween®, the organization making Green Halloween (and other great initiatives) possible!

{Halloween Birthday Bash} Yandy.com

I have a confession to make - I love shopping for lingerie. Want to know what I love more than shopping for lingerie? Finding a piece that actually fits my body and leaves me feeling comfortable now that I have had four children. I suppose my husband is less picky than I am, he thinks I look great no matter what I'm wearing (or not). When I shop for new lingerie and look at the models in the photos I always have a hard time imagining what the item will look like on me.

My husbands absolute favorite gown for me to wear is several sizes too small, itches like crazy, and I down right hate it. He will swear up and down that I am only saying that because he likes it but you ladies might know what I mean. You know the mesh materials sometimes used in lingerie? Well, thats what it's made of, and it's horrible.

When I came across the Plus Size Stretch Lace Gown while looking around Yandy.com I had originally wanted to ask for the gown in black. You see, another thing that my husband and I disagree on when it comes to lingerie is color. I prefer black - he prefers white. I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that I feel more comfortable in black with it's slimming qualities! In the end, I decided that since this gown was so similar to the one that my husband likes so much that I would go with the white.

It arrived very quickly, and discreetly and as soon as I took it out of the package and felt the soft material I knew I was going to love it. As with any time I get new lingerie I ran off to the other room to try it on right away. Instead of squeezing into it and feeling the disappointment in the pit of my belly due to the gown not fitting I was overjoyed by the fact that it fit perfectly!

The shoulder straps are adjustable, so I was even able to tighten the bust to fit just right. The sheer ruffled trim seemed to help weigh the gown down and the included g-string fit comfortably as well. I could go on and on about how much I love this gown! I wish I could wear it all day, but since I can't I've got my eye on a few sexy dresses - among other things.

Yandy.com doesn't only sell lingerie, they've got you covered for Halloween too. I was amazed at the selection of plus size costumes, sexy halloween costumes, couples costumes, and even accessories like legwarmers, wigs, and wings!
