not so Wordless Wednesday ~ My pitiful little tree!

I told my Mom I wasn't going to set up a tree this year because whether if I like it or not there is absolutely NO ROOM in this little house for a tree. I have seen one bedroom apartments that are bigger than this house! I set up a tree in the previous years, but this year I added a dresser that was given to me in the place where the tree would have fit. Not only that, I haven't had any extra cash and buying a tree just wouldn't have been an expense that I could have afforded. Anyway, my Mom offered to buy me a small tree so that it can sit on top of the dresser. (Yes, I have a lime green dresser in my living room!) Have a look:

There are lights and ornaments. Honestly!
They just didn't show up in the photo very well...
I do need to add more ornaments though.
See that Christmas Card sitting in the middle? I just received that in the mail today from another blogger, Mommy Has to Work. I thought it was very sweet of her to do that and since it is only the second card I have received this year, it got to join in with the rest of the gifts under the tree. (Where's the first card? Well, I lost it somewhere in the pile of papers on my desk thats where!)

Oh, and that Angel up at the top? That was sent along with a single (fake) rose as a gift with the review products that I got from Misikko! I love it when companies add an extra little touch in their packages.

Just think, by this time next week Christmas will be done and over! I'll be sure to take some photos and do a Whats Under My Tree? post once the rest of the gifts are added, although there aren't going to be many this year. I won a few giveaways which would make amazing gifts for the kids, but haven't received them yet so hoping they make it to me in time.

Well, I've wasted pretty much the entire day so far. Better get to finishing up my reviews!

As long as your family has fond memories of Christmas, that's all that really matter anyway.

Merry Christmas!
