To use your Scandle shimmering lotion Candle, it's recommended to let it burn for around 30 minutes, or at least until it melts to the edge of the tin to ensure an even burn each time. The candle starts melting almost immediately after lighting and I didn't follow this recommendation, but if you get your own candle I would suggest you do to avoid having an indented circle in the middle of your candle. For the small amount that I used each time I lit this candle, I do believe it will last for quite some time.

I was a little worried that using a candle for lotion would leave my skin feeling oily or waxy, but this was not the case. At first it did feel waxy a little bit, but once dry my skin felt very soft. The scent isn't quite as strong once the candle is lit, but can be faintly detected on your skin.
