We all enjoy a good lotion or romantic candle lit evening and Scandle Candle brings us the perfect combination of the two - a candle that can be used as a massage oil or body lotion when it melts! I was given the chance to try one of Scandle's new Shimmering Lotion Candles in the travel tin size and I think it will be the start of a new collection. As soon as I opened the tin the decadent scent hit me - Warm Vanilla Sugar.
Scandle Shimmering Lotion Candles burn at only 2 degrees above body temperature and produce a shimmering, fragrant, lotion to give your skin a healthy, sexy, & flawless glow! It's perfect for massage, cuticle treatments for manicures/pedicures, or as an everyday moisturizer.
Made from 100% natural ingredients, Scandle’s Shimmering Body Candle is the first candle to:
- Give Skin a Natural Shimmer
- Hide Wrinkles & Imperfections by Deflecting Light
- Hydrate Skin
- While Adding Aroma & Ambiance to Any Setting
I was a little worried that using a candle for lotion would leave my skin feeling oily or waxy, but this was not the case. At first it did feel waxy a little bit, but once dry my skin felt very soft. The scent isn't quite as strong once the candle is lit, but can be faintly detected on your skin.
Scandle's Shimmering Lotion Candle is in a re-usable white/pearl colored ceramic container with pour spout that can be refilled with Scandle Body Candle Refill Massage Candles. I love that you can simply buy refills instead of having to find other uses for the empty jars!
Buy it: Purchases can be made in a large variety of over 18 fragrances exclusively through Scandle at www.abodycandle.com. These would make a wonderful gift for anyone on your list for the coming Holidays and are even available in a couple different limited edition Holiday fragrances!
