On this blog I am willing to review family friendly products for children or adults. I have two boys who are 9 and 10, and two girls who are 5 and 21 months if that helps you decide if your product would be a good fit in my home. We especially love video games, movies, and all things electronic.

Product Reviews (updated as of March 26, 2010):
In order to review your product, a new, full-size, non-returnable sample is required. Misfit Momma is not responsible for shipping, brokerage, or any other fees. If you have anything else that will enhance my review of your product such as photos, images, video, or important product information, please feel free to email it to me or send it along with the sample.
Upon receiving your product, I (and/or other members of my family, if applicable) will test and use your product. You can expect an email with the estimated wait time for your review upon receipt of your product (currently 2-4 weeks*). I will send you an email when the product(s) is reviewed with the link to the review. Products will not be returned.
*For Book reviews, please understand that due to time constraints, novels or other lengthly books may take longer for a review but I will try to review all books as quickly as it is possible.
If I am not satisfied with your product, I will contact you privately by email to discuss the matter before posting a review.
Giveaway Contest Sponsor Information:
I highly recommend sponsoring a giveaway as part of my review. Please let me know immediately if you would like me to promote a giveaway as part of my review and what specifically you would like to give to one of my readers. Giveaways are excellent ways to generate traffic to your site. Visiting your website and commenting about it on my blog will be mandatory in order for my blog readers to be entered in the giveaway. My blog readers will also be encouraged to gain additional entries by writing their own blog post about the giveaway that includes links to both your website and my review about your product. If you have a Facebook fan page or Twitter account where you would like me to direct readers, please email me that information as well.
Giveaways will be written about at the end of the review post and the winner will be announced following a pre-determined time frame after the review is posted (Normally 2-3 weeks). If you would like different arrangements, please email me to discuss your ideas.
When a giveaway winner is chosen (using random.org), I will send you an email with the winner's contact information. It is the responsibility of your company to ship the prize to the winner.
Please be sure to specify what the giveaway prize will be and please clarify whether you would like the contest to be open to Canada only, Canada and the USA, or worldwide. Since I am a Canadian myself, I would prefer my giveaways to be open to Canadians if at all possible.
I also offer a free 30 day sidebar ad for all review sponsors. Sponsor must provide the text or 125x125 button code that they wish to have used. Ads will be posted on my sidebar the same day as your review, unless you request otherwise. Ongoing sponsors (ie: new review each month) will have continuous sidebar advertising.
Participant Information:
Visit the post where the product is reviewed and leave comments there according to the contest entry directions. Failure to follow the contest rules will result in your entry being discarded and considered void. This is a family friendly blog and any obscene, lewd, or offensive comments will be deleted and considered void. The length of the contest will generally be one week and the winner of the giveaway will be selected using random.org. The winner will be posted on this blog and I will contact the winner by email (if an address is provided). If I am unable to get in touch with the winner within 48 hours after the contest closes, an alternate winner will be chosen (again using random.org) and the initial winner will no longer have a claim on the prize. Any contact information submitted to me by my blog readers will never be sold to third parties and will be only be given to a giveaway sponsor for shipping purposes in the case that a reader wins a contest. Participants are expected to know and abide by the customs regulations for shipping to their country. There are no restrictions on the number of giveaways a participant can enter. No purchase is necessary to enter my giveaways; however, participants must be 18 years or older.
