Please tell me about yourself.

My name is Lauren Hope. I am 24 years old and when I am not working as a preschool teacher, I am creating unique pieces of jewelry. I love blues and greens and browns and can find inspiration is almost anything I see. I live with my husband, Tripp. My dog, Dahlia, and my two cats, Tobey and Jack. I have my own art room in my house, but I usually sit in the living room with a box full of supplies and create next to my husband.

What kinds of products do you offer?

Jewelry and hair accessories.

How long have you been in business?

About a year now.

What sets your business apart from others in your niche? 

LHB Jewelry is all about creating unique and stylish wearable art with a modern simplicity thats inspired by nature with a big emphasis on FUN.

What is your most popular product?

It depends on where I am selling. At farmers markets my most popular item is my wire wrapped rings. At bazaars my necklaces do really well. Online its a bit of a mix.

What inspires you?

Anything! I really love nature, but that sounds so cliche. I love clean and simple lines, bright bold colors, and photography. Any of these things inspire me to create.

Where do you see your business heading in the future?

I hope to one day have children and be able to leave my teaching job and work from home. My dream would be to open up a shop with my Mom by my side in the downtown Portland area.
