Smartipants Cloth Diaper REVIEW and GIVEAWAY !

I have been using cloth diapers on my baby girl from the time she was 6 weeks old. She is now 16 months old and still in cloth full time ! I think that most of my followers already use cloth , but if you don't , I hope that my posts about cloth diapers might help you consider making the switch !

You can use up to 7000 disposable diapers from birth to potty , but the average baby only needs 24 cloth diapers which can save you nearly $3000 ! Using the adjustable rise snaps they will fit babies from 7 - 35lbs meaning you can use the same diaper from newborn - toddler !

Instead of a pocket , they have a sleeve that you slide the Smart Sleeve Insert into. The sleeve means that you can leave the insert in when you put it in the wash and it will agitate out on it's own ! I was itching to pull it out before putting it in the machine but left it in and it did come out on it's own every time ! It will take some getting used to , but being able to skip that step makes them so easy to use and wash.

As with I'm sure everyone else who uses cloth diapers , I have gone through many different brands. Finding that some don't work for us at all , while others are a perfect fit. This was my first time trying a SmartiPants diaper and I am happy to report that SmartiPants are a perfect fit for us !

She can still wear it with the rise snapped down , But it also fits her fully unsnapped. Either way , she had no gaps at her legs at all , and still has lots of room to grow (she is about 22 lbs now). The diaper is trim in between her legs , and fit so nicely under her regular clothes.

I didn't want to write this review without trying the diaper overnight. I was a bit nervous because the insert seems trimmer than the ones I normally use overnight , but gave it a try anyway. This particular day it turned out that she slept longer than usual and ended up wearing her SmartiPants for about 13 hours. The insert was soaked , but the outside of the diaper was perfectly dry ! No wicking at the legs or anything ! I was shocked but definitely very happy !
