I breastfed all 4 of my babies , and I am still breastfeeding my 18 month old daughter now. Through all the years , I have never owned a nursing top. Not a single one, until now! I was lucky enough to win my Undercover Mama nursing top from Life More Simply and now I know what I was missing out on.

Having a new baby always brings on new expenses. For me , a nursing top didn't seem important when there were things I needed to buy for the kids. So I continued on, covering up with a blanket or simply hoping my baby didn't start flailing around ultimately exposing me to whoever happened to glance my way. I love my babies, but I don't like showing off my baby belly! I wish I had got myself a nursing top long ago!

I ordered a size large black top. When I first tried it on it did seem a little tight on me but after wearing it for a while it felt much more comfortable. Based off the size chart on her site, I am pretty sure X-Large would have been too big. Instead of shoulder straps , it has clips like the ones you use to fasten your bra which you attach to the front of your nursing bra. It was very easy to clip on and does not come loose on it's own.

You can use your top as an undershirt for going out or breastfeeding in public -which also gives you a nice layered look due to the genorous length- but I have simply been wearing mine as a tank top. It is made of cotton & spandex and is nice and soft with no scratchy tags anywhere on it since the "tag" is printed right onto the fabric. Unless someone was to look closely and see where the clips on your bra meet the top , they wouldn't know that you weren't just wearing a regular tank. To be honest I will most likely continue wearing this top even when I am done breastfeeding just because we all know how much of a pain it can be to deal with bra straps while wearing a tank top.

I can honestly say after wearing my Undercover mama for 3 weeks , that I have not found a single negative thing to say about it ! The tag says to wash cold, and dry flat - Mine has been in the dryer a few times and no damage has come to it. Which is a very good thing for me ...I can never remember to look for one shirt in the mix when moving laundry to the next machine!
